I don't think I can express how much I love love love this mare. She is quite seriously my dream horse. Always expect more of Wren.
But at least Wrenny looks cute, my human doesnt look overly horrible and that BG is actually pretty nice. Seriously I need to actually show what a grump this mare can be.
"Anna, come, stop fussing over that horse, nothing will happen just by you fussing over her."
Ann just rolled her eyes at her father's words, moving Wren back into her stall she moved to the work table in the barn and began to help him transplant the spring crops which had slowly been growing in one of their bathrooms since November. Quite frankly she should have been happy to help him move them so that they could finally go be in the greenhouse instead of the bathroom, but the little field behind the barn that Ann got to ride in was finally free of snow, and it hadn't rained enough to make the ground all mushy and wet. Eagerly, she had so desired to go bring Wren in and try her over a few jumps - a couple weeks had passed since their first ride back and the round mare was steadily losing her haybelly and rebuilding her top line. All Annika could think of while she helped her father was the feel of her mare in her hands and between her legs, rocking up and over fences. Of course, the truths that Wren's ears had a tendency to pin over fences or that she might give the occasional buck of anger/excitement in the workout did not escape her mind.
As they finished up, she turned to her dad, "Now?" The old man just laughed and patted her on the back.
"Don't work her too hard. You are starting to make me think I need to be harder on the rest of these horses."
